Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Educator

I am a Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Educator. I began my career working on various surgical units and have done some casual work in Public Health, but my passion has always been in Chronic Disease Management. I started my journey in diabetes education with the Community Diabetes Team, and Edmonton West Primary Care Network, and eventually found myself at the Royal Alexandra Hospital Diabetes Outpatient Clinic. I am excited to embark on this new opportunity with the amazing OKAKI Diabetes Virtual Care Clinic team where I can continue to make a meaningful impact as a diabetes educator. When I’m not working, I enjoy golfing and spending time with my husband and senior dachshund/chihuahua bestie!
